Description
This is the radio remix version of "I Want You", the first and only freestyle/dance Top 40 hit for Shana (billed in the songwriting credit as Shana Gordon). The song just made the Top 40, peaking at #40 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her 1990 follow-up single, "You Can't Get Away", was also a minor Billboard Hot 100 hit, reaching #82.
Re-branding herself as a country singer, Shana billed herself as Shana Petrone, and released three singles that made the Billboard Country Singles chart; "Heaven Bound" (1998 - #60), "This Time" (1999 - #45), and "Something Real" (1999 - #66).
