With special thanks to the University of Oregon for presenting partnership, a world class stage design provided by Meyer Pro Inc, an incredible legacy bound Event Book provided by Premier Press and to the creative digital craft provided by Thesis. All of our Partners and event history can be found at TEDxPortland.com Thunderstorm Artis is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who makes music that strengthens the heart and awakens the soul. Thunderstorm grew up in a musical family with 10 siblings and began songwriting at 13 years old to cope with the sudden loss of his father. He experienced astronomical success after being a finalist on NBC’s The Voice in 2020, and has shared stages with legends like Booker T. Jones and Jack Johnson. His new project is a genre-bending batch of emotionally raw and incisive songs that offer much-needed insight into living with hope even in the darkest of times. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
