I Got The Pickleball Blues is a song written by Pat Surface, inspired by a game that is sweeping the country, and one that he has come to love. The last verse was written from this story: Pat and Donna were playing Pickleball at their condo in Florida. At an HOA meeting during COVID a masked gentleman came up to Donna and said, "Haven't I seen you playing Pickleball here?" "Yes!" she replied. "Well, you're not very good," he said. Crestfallen, Donna replied, "I'm just learning," "It's embarrassing," he said, and walked away. A lemon at the time, made into lemonade by Pat in this song.
