An All-Night Vigil of Invocation with songs called ichaalaan

The ritual begins at night and continues until dawn. Throughout the night, elders and family members invoke the spirit of the deceased through chanting, drumming, and whistling. The purpose of this nocturnal phase is to call the spirit from the realm of the dead, inviting it to return and prepare for the main rites that take place the following morning.
